WILLIAM SAY MAKES SUMMER MEADOW CANDLE TIN FOR DIDDLY SQUAT

William Say manufactures gold embossed candle tin for Diddly Squat Farm, setting for TV hit show, ‘Clarkson’s Farm’. 

William Say & Co, London’s only central independent can maker, has collaborated with Diddly Squat Farm to create a hand-embossed gold candle tin for the farm’s new bestseller, Summer Meadow.

Diddly Squat Farm, located in Chipping Norton, Cotswolds, is owned and run by Jeremy Clarkson and his partner Lisa Hogan. The farm features in Amazon Prime’s ‘Clarkson’s Farm’ with season three launching on 3 May 2024. Season two reached 7.6 million viewers within the first month of airing.

Lisa Hogan, co-founder of Diddly Squat Farm commented: “We wanted to create a candle that captured the essence of our summer meadows and depicted all the star animals from season one, two and three of Clarkson’s Farm.

“William Say created a bespoke emboss print surrounding the tin showcasing the chickens, sheep, and even our beloved cow, Pepper, has made an appearance.

“It was important to us that the candle was made within the UK and William Say handcrafted each tin at its UK factory. It’s been a true collaborative process with the team at William Say taking our ideas to help create this gorgeous lemony scented candle.”

“Not only is the tin a great candle, but the empty container can actually be reused to plant flowers in or store other household items, making it a great keepsake,” Lisa mentioned.

“All elements on the candle are created through embossing, rather than digital printing, helping the details stand out, bringing the animals to life and creating a really tactile finish.

“We supported the team throughout the whole process, from concept curation to the creation of the tin, the inputting of the candle itself and the shipping to the Diddly Squat Farm – we supplied and created the finished product from start to end,” added Stuart.
