This beautiful tin was manufactured in our UK factory (William Say). This complex project also utilised our co-packing and labelling services, allowing us to supply ESPA with a retail ready product. This Christmas promotional line was then distributed within the UK.
ESPA is a world-leading natural skincare brand, their products deliver an instant benefit but also work beneath the skin’s surface to protect the long-term health and beauty of your skin.
The team works with biochemists, skin experts and aromatherapists to develop its range of formulations and the Tri-Active formula, unique to ESPA, combines plant and marine actives with essential oils. Each product is expertly crafted to create a beautiful sensory experience.
In 2017, ESPA launched is best-selling ‘Men’s Skincare Survival Kit’ gift set which launched for Christmas. P Wilkinson Containers helped source innovative and unique packaging that both stood out on the shelf and saved the ESPA critical processing time.
A ring pull tin was customised with a unique ESPA label that was produced and applied inhouse at Wilkinson Containers. The gift set included the Invigorating Facewash, Dual-Action Shavemud, the Hydrator and Energising Shower Gel which were all packed by the Wilkinson’s team and then finally sealed on-site before dispatch. The product was completed by a plastic overcap which matched the brand’s unique Pantone colour.
As a result of the overwhelming success of the Men’s Skincare Survival Kit, a second men’s gift set was launched the following year – The Ultimate Finish, Men’s Skincare Essentials, which was also nominated for Metal Pack of the Year at the UK Packaging Awards.
This gift set was packed into a lever lid tin, mimicking a traditional paint can – the final set even included a branded screwdriver to open the product creating a very tactile and memorable user experience. Again, the product was sourced, labelled, packed and sealed by P Wilkinson Containers.
Through this relationship with P Wilkinson Containers, ESPA was able to innovate and launch new products without the burden of investing in additional equipment to pack the gift sets and were able to order enough packaging to meet demand.
