Bambino Mio – the award-winning reusable nappy company – was looking for high-quality, visually-appealing packaging with green credentials they could shout about. The solution would need to offer optimal ease-of-use and ease-of-storage as well as effective protection of its contents. Delivering on all counts, our metal slip tin – measuring 89mm (diameter) by 152mm (depth) – was the obvious choice.
The tins feature a high-quality litho print with a matt varnish that seamlessly integrates with other carton items in the company’s range. The eye-catching typography – which proudly proclaims ‘Wash, rewear, relove and rebel’ – combine with the bold brand colours to transform these practical, everyday items into beautiful collectables. As such, they are likely to be re-used multiple times before eventually being recycled.
The metal tins – manufactured using solar energy by our factory (William Say) in the heart of London – can be recycled infinitely. So the manufacturing process and the packaging itself combine to drive down Bambino Mio’s carbon footprint. The bottom of the tins are debossed with the ‘Metal Recycles Forever’ logo to highlight the recycling benefits to consumers.
Please get in touch to find out more about our vast range of green packaging options. Together, we can radically reduce your carbon footprint, satisfy all the needs and desires of your increasingly demanding and eco-conscious customers, and help make the world a greener, cleaner place. Client Associated Dental came to P. Wilkinson Containers for a packaging solution for dental mould wax. The product is a soft wax used by dentists to bead round the edge of a functional impression prior to casting.
The seamless tins used for the dental and orthodontic materials are 64mm diameter x 19mm tall from the tinplate range. The product doesn’t require a liner within the packaging, and Associated Dental chose a plain design ready for brand labelling. Our William Say factory pressed the lids and bottoms out of tinplate on site in Bermondsey.
During the 2020-21 Covid pandemic, Top Dental required access to stock which their previous supplier couldn’t deliver on time. They required white 2 litre wipes containers and lids with a very quick turnaround time.
P Wilkinson Containers hold stock which enabled us to balance out the demand fluctuations. Top Dental was subsequently provided a stable supply for regular orders. This was especially valuable during the pandemic when demand for wipe buckets fluctuated and increased substantially.

P Wilkinson Containers was able to offer the client a range of 3 and 6 litre buckets, complete with lids with wipe fitments. The wipe fitment, while not bespoke to the customer, is a non-standard as standard lids would not have the wipe fitting
