What types of Embossing do we offer?

Embossing & Debossing by Power Press (for 5,000 units+)

Using machinery at our production facility (William Say & Co – www.wsay.co.uk), we are able to press any design into most of our metal products. Normal tools create one raised level (emboss) or sunken (de-boss) level to a design, but we are also able to create 3D embossing tools that have a number of layers. Our power presses are able to emboss large numbers of items efficiently, as well as being powerful enough for more complex designs.

For many lids, embossing can be done at the point of manufacture, which can mean there is no cost impact (other than the initial cost of the tooling required).

Embossing & Debossing by hand (for small orders)

Using traditional machinery at our production facility (William Say & Co – www.wsay.co.uk), we are able to emboss logo’s and simple designs onto most metal objects & products. This more manual process allows very short runs to be produced. This is an additional process which requires both a tooling cost & cost per impression.
